This fabulous recipe never lasts long in our house. The combination of the mascarpone, homemade crust and fresh berries is just delicious!
Ingredients
Ingredients-
- 1 Pound of Fresh Black Berries and Raspberries
- 1/2 Cup Mascarpone Cheese
- 1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
- Tablespoon of Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1/2 Cup of ice cold water
- 1 Stick Chilled (cold) butter
- 1 Tablespoon of extra butter (melted) for brushing edges
- Honey
- Demerara Sugar
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 415 degrees. Place flour, sugar and salt into bowl and whisk. Then clear a area on your counter for rolling out dough. Pour flour on counter space and place chilled butter in the flour. Cut up butter enough for you to squeeze flour and butter into your hands. Mix until it forms into dough. Add a little bit of cold water as needed.
- Once dough is formed place on a baking sheet and roll out dough. Leaving room for folding edges around. Spread a layer of mascarpone cheese, then add berries and drizzle your honey on top. Fold your edges around layering around to form a circle. Brush edges with butter and sprinkle Demerara sugar around.
- Place in oven and bake for 15-20mins. Depending on your oven and until edges are brown.
- Once finished let cool and bon appeit!
